About Rodbourn Enterprises

Rodbourn Enterprises LLC is a privately held company founded in 2008 by Dr. Cook, during his undergraduate studies, with an initial focus on web development with the Microsoft technology stack.

The company's initial business focused on the first product, GreatVocab.com, and continued with the development of many custom web and desktop applications. With Dr. Cook's continued research in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), realized through his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Rodbourn Enterprises too expanded into the field of CFD. As a continuation of Dr. Cook's research, we are actively developing a high order thermodynamically consistent projection method.

Charles Cook, Ph.D.

Dr. Charles Rodbourn Cook founded Rodbourn Enterprises in 2008 just before graduate studies with the development of www.greatvocab.com.

Dr. Cook earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering (summa cum laude) and Mechanical Engineering (cum laude) at the University of Florida, where he further earned a M.S. and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering. Dr. Cook's research focus was and still is in the development of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) schemes, where he developed a new scheme and code for simulating compressible heat transfer.
